Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) received 12 queries from interested companies for the Jewar International Airport project till Monday, which was the last date for submissions.
Three of the 12 queries were received on the last day. The authority will now pass them on to the project monitoring and implementation committee that has time till August 31 to respond. So far, 16 bidders have bought the bid for the airport. October 30 is the last date for submitting applications.
They will get the committee’s expert comments and submit the responses to the state government for approval. Once approved, these will be published online on our website. They have time till August 31 to respond.
Most were technical queries related to reducing the bid security amount, ‘golden share’ clause in the bid document and seeking changes in the evaluation process. Several queries were addressed during the pre-bid conference held by YEIDA on July 15.
Technical bids will be opened on November 6 and the financial bid will be opened on November 29.
