GRIHA has been acknowledged as India’s own green building rating system. GRIHA is a part of mitigation strategy for combating climate change in INDIA’s “Nationally Determined Contributions” submitted to UNFCCC by the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEF&CC).
The body is organizing the 9th edition of our flagship event, The GRIHA Summit. The conference, which is expected to be attended by more than 1000 delegates, will be held from December 18th to 19th 2017 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, under the theme ‘Sustainable is Affordable’. The Hon’ble Minister of State (I/C), Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri has kindly agreed to inaugurate the summit.
The conference will address new and engaging discussions around affordability and indigenous sustainability solutions which will encourage more builders and developers, architectural and planning firms, materials and equipment manufacturers, government bodies/nodal agencies and not-for-profit organisations to enter the affordable real estate sector.
