A Home That Rotate 360˚ to Harness Solar Energy

rotating houseAn architectural company has begun making a prototype house in Marbella, Spain, which can rotate on its own axis and harness maximum amount of Solar energy and providing much-needed Solar exposure to the house as well. It can rotate a full 360 degrees as the Sun follows its path and it will be the first of its kind ever built in Europe. The Marbella is a favorite destination for tourists from around the world due to its scenic appearance and plenty of  sun in the summer. The house rotates a few degrees every 15 minutes and keeps on doing it till the sun sets. The rotation is so small and insignificant that the people inside don’t feel a thing. The rotation allows to get maximum sunlight on solar panels arranged on house. The rotating house can also provide a different scenery for the occupants every other hour or so which is great for tourism. The house can save up to 70% of the energy requirements of a house and reduce Carbon emissions by 68%. Currently, the only thing standing in the way of the technology is money as a 2,690 Square feet house will cost a whopping 820,000 $ to build. It is several times more expensive than a normal construction
