Alstom and RZD International have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly develop railway infrastructure projects. The MoU includes the provision of technical consulting services, infrastructure project management and design of modern infrastructure facilities, in addition to quality assurance, knowledge exchange and quality control of construction works.

Alstom president Henri Poupart-Lafarge said that the unique expertise of RZD International in the construction and service of railway infrastructure in different geological and climatic conditions, coupled with Alstom’s cutting-edge infrastructure design and technologies, will allow Alstom to bring the best of global practices to our customers worldwide. A subsidiary of Russian Railways, RZD International is currently involved in a major project for the modernisation of Serbia’s railway infrastructure.
