One of the biggest highlights of the event was the live demonstration of product usage. Several experts across the country and abroad was seen participating in the event. Educative sessions presented advantages and practicalities of state-of-the-art flooring solutions and advancements in materials, machines, and maintenance.

‘The experts from different from segments of the industry are finding scope and opportunities and each is different from other. Every type is it Epoxy Self Label Flooring or Floor Coating, be it Reinforced Industrial Flooring or Polished Concrete Flooring, be it Anti-Static Flooring or simple Concrete Flooring. The first speaker, Mr. Arjun Dutta, delved into the specifics of the related challenges and the way forward to deal pro-actively with them in the expanding industrial flooring market. His humorous positioning of the present scenario of flooring with the much talked about Blue Whale game throws significant insights on some of the suicidal outcomes from an improper and misbalanced understanding of the subject. In the present Indian market size of 980 ml sq km, the industrial definition for flooring quality specifications and guidelines is yet to be established. Flooring has many areas of specifications like the ease of maintenance, hygiene, conditioning, wear, and tear. These ultimately go to define product requirements and specifications in a way that a proposed technology could be best implemented. He also went on to define the Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) which can be understood as thickness and a type of concrete profile substrate needed against that type of a building which could be chosen for a floor problem.

Talking about the market potential, Mr. Arijit Basu. Managing Director highlighted the fact that every six months there is a cost involved with flooring i.e. repairing, upgradation or maintenance. The global trends state that by 2030, India will be the most populous market and the World Bank states that by 2040, investment in infrastructure could go as high as 4 trillion dollars. The liberalization of the economy has opened doors to pharmaceuticals, food processing or FMCG which in turn have led to the exponential growth in the industrial flooring market covering these sectors and others. He also raised the issue of climate change and stressed that products with innovative technical abilities must be developed and introduced in the market which in turn can react to pro-actively make sustainability a strong feature in the industrial flooring market.

The event brought in more than 400 delegates across globe wherein they got a common platform to share ideas and
innovation.
