BASF India Ltd, the Indian arm of German chemicals major, BASF SE have commissioned its greenfield facility in Dahej. Set up with an investment of Rs. 1000 crore, the plant is the single largest investment of the company in India. The facility, spread across an area of 23 hectares, houses an integrated hub for polyurethane manufacturing and production facility for care chemicals and polymer dispersions. While, the care chemicals facility is the first sulfation plant of BASF in India, the polymer dispersion plant will help boost company’s dispersions business.
