National Seminar & Exhibition on Global Trends in Concrete-Steel Composite Structures Design & Construction
May 10 - May 11
Concrete and steel are the backbone of structures. Concrete has very good compressive strength while steel has high tension strength. Together, the concrete-steel composites negate the weakness of each other and enhance the properties of the composite, enabling the construction of increasingly demanding structures.
India faces a huge challenge of developing the required infrastructure. To address this, the Government of India has chartered an ambitious growth plan including residential, commercial and infrastructure segments along with the public and private sectors. This formidable task will only be possible with the aid of innovative design and construction technologies.
To provide a global perspective on the various innovations in the concrete-steel composite space, the Bangalore chapter of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India) is hosting a two-day national seminar & exhibition on ‘Global Trends in Concrete-Steel Composite Structures’ at the NIMHANS Convention Centre, Bangalore on the 10th and 11th of May, 2019.
