Being the First Indian Manufacturer of Directional Drills what is your take on Make India initiative?
Make in India is an initiative launched by Govt of India to encourage national, as well as multinational companies to manufacture their products in India. Since we had the background in the machine manufacturing so we made all the technical studies to come into the HDD segment after the market analysis and technical studies. We also collected a lot of schemes and the subsidies from the nationalized bank through the DIC which was in favour of the small businessman or the Contractors. Govt is still introducing several reforms to create possibilities for promoting made in India products .some initiatives have already been undertaken to alleviate the business environment from the outdated policies and regulations. All such things make us enough confidence to come into the HDD machine manufacturing. We are having own set of design and other infrastructure which makes us different than other overseas manufacturers. We are the proud owners of first Indian manufacturers of HDD machine in India.
Discuss the range of products offered by the company?
As per the market and the telecom communication network requirement under the digital India programme structured by Govt of India we are focusing to cater more on HDD technologies. We are designing and putting a lot of R&D to make some good solutions in hard strata. We are focussing to develop solutions of the horizontal drilling in each and every kind of strata for all types utilities. We are also focussing on the cable network in a narrow street with the help of some compact and precise HDD model. Over a period of time, we have developed and manufactured A800, A400, A600, A200, A100, A1200, etc and also developed on Mud Mixing System MX40 and also various planning to provide one-stop solution related to drilling. We have catered some rock cutting tooling which makes us different than others.
What are the on-site assistance services provided by the company?
We are committed to providing all best possible assistance on-site only. We have a good team of qualified and experienced service engineers. We do provide machine commissioning facilities as per the standards. We deploy our service engineer immediately to get the problems rectified on site only.
How much potential do you see in the equipment manufacturing sector in India?
Investments in manufacturing are imperative if a significant proportion of our massive rural workforce has to move into higher income, higher skilled economic activity, thereby putting India back on a sustainable high growth trajectory.
India is on the threshold of major reforms and is poised to become the third-largest economy of the in world by 2030. In the words of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, India offers the 3 ‘Ds’ for business to thrive democracy, demography and demand. Add to that a tech-savvy and educated population, skilled labour, robust legal and IPR regime, and a strong commitment to calibrated liberalization India is a destination that German investors cannot overlook. India’s manufacturing sector has evolved through several phases – from the initial industrialisation and the license raj to liberalisation and the current phase of global competitiveness. Today, Indian manufacturing companies in several sectors are targeting global markets and are becoming formidable global competitors. Many are already amongst the most competitive in their sectors. India is expected to become the fifth largest manufacturing country in the world by the end of the year 2020*.
In your view what is the ‘standout’ feature of the company that distinguishes it from others?
We are proud owners of the first Indian HDD machine manufacturer in India. Nobody took initiative to make work on hydraulic technology. We dare to get the job done which makes us unique than others. We are continuously working on the trenchless technology as a solution manufactures for all kind of obstacle in the horizontal drilling.
