IBC’s Recommendations for Tackling the Housing for All Challenge

The advent of new technologies, applications and tools is redefining the construction landscape of India. This evolution is redefining how companies design, plan and execute projects. The Indian Buildings Congress (IBC), organized its mid term session and seminar on “Construction Management Tools, Modern Technologies and Materials in Built Environment” between the 21st and 22nd of June 2019 at Pune to shed light on the various emerging advances with the agenda to align them with acute problems the country is facing, like Housing for All. Lt. Gen. S.K Saini, AVSM, YSM, VSM, GOC-in-C, Southern Command presided over the function as the chief guest.

The recommendations, emerged as a result of the mid term session and seminar are listed below. These recommendations are of special importance for the effective implementation for Government Agenda for tackling the acute problem of Housing for All.
