The pre-cast segment casting, a precursor to the super structure of Bridge Deck Construction for Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, is completed. The completed 75-tonne segment, with dimensions 14.8m x 3.32m x 3.85m, will be erected in the marine section at a distance of 6km inside the sea. This is India’s longest water bridge.

The progress on the project is noteworthy as MMRDA completed 270 permanent piles of which 177 were completed in the sea. The project also completed 2km of the Temporary Access Bridge – which includes both sides – 16 Pile Caps and 10 Piers.
