Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL) has bagged new orders worth Rs 1,200 crores, stated the company today. The Mumbai-headquartered engineering and construction company been able to win a transmission line turnkey project from Transmission Corporation of Telangana, Hyderabad of Rs 402 crores. The company, in consortium with JMC and STS, won another project worth Rs 464 crore in the state for the railway infrastructure construction project from Railways Vikas Nigam Limited.
The list also extends to an international project worth Rs 336 crores for the transmission line turnkey project in Abu Dhabi. The company expects that the current order book provides good visibility of achieving 15-20% growth in next year. KPTL is an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) firm engaged in power transmission & distribution, oil & gas pipeline, railways, infrastructure development, civil contracting and warehousing & logistics business. It is currently executing several contracts in India, Africa, Middle East, Australia, CIS, SAARC, North America and Far East.
Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd rose over 3 per cent today after the company announced that it has been able to procure Rs 1200 crore multiple mega-projects. After making a positive opening, shares of the company further gained 3.39 per cent to Rs. 319.90 — its 52-week high — on the BSE.
