Katerra has announced it has won Embassy Group’s bid for development of Embassy 3A, a 1.6 million square feet, commercial building project. This is Katerra’s second project with Embassy Group having earlier built Embassy 7B, a 1.7 million square feet office building in 2018.
Embassy 3A will be the latest addition to Embassy’s sprawling office park, Embassy Tech Village in Bengaluru. The project is designed by KGD – A Katerra Design Partner and will capitalize on Katerra’s unique offsite construction factory, sourcing all building components for the project from Katerra’s 42 acres, fully-integrated offsite manufacturing facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. As a result, this project is scheduled to be designed and built in the next 19 months, bringing in 50% time saving.
Mr. Nejeeb Khan, Head Design and Business Strategy – India, Katerra said, “High performance and sustainably built commercial spaces are a growing requirement in urban India. At Katerra, we are developing design and technology-driven solutions to deliver smarter, better, and faster commercial spaces for our clients.
