Gurugram-based ReNew Power announced it has awarded its 50 Megawatt wind power project order to Gamesa. Gamesa, the fourth largest wind turbine manufacturer in the world, execute the order on a turnkey basis and will handle installation and operation of the facility to be set up in Amba, Madhya Pradesh. The 50 MW project will be made up of 25 units of 2 MW wind turbine and will be commissioned by March 2017. Gamesa will handle the entire infrastructure needed to install and operate the facility. The order forms part of the 304 MW consolidated orders announced for India.
