    Skipper Ltd Wins 190 Km

Skipper Ltd has won PGCIL- Kolkata’s supply and installation of 190 km power transmission line project worth Rs 524 Cr from Fatehgarh to Bhadla in Rajasthan. Skipper is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of power transmission & distribution structures bagged the project through a tariff-based competitive bidding conducted by Power Finance Corporation for Green Energy Corridor projects. It would be manufacturing and installing a 765kV, 190 km Hexa Zebra Conductor power transmission line from Fatehgarh to Bhadla.

The domestic transmission and distribution market is seeing muted ordering for the past 18 months. However, with the bids being finalized for the Green energy corridors, Skipper is optimistic for better order inflows in the months to come. Skipper is the largest in India and tenth globally on the basis its manufacturing capacity.
