SS Solutions received the first topographical survey contract of Delhi-Gurugram-SNB RRTS corridor. The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has issued the Letter of Acceptance to the firm.
The scope of the topographical survey contract covers the work of final location survey, topographical survey and other miscellaneous survey works from Sarai Kale Khan (SKK) to SNB (Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror) of Delhi-Gurugram-SNB Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. The total value of the topographical survey contract is Rs. 60.73 lakh.
SS Solutions emerged as the lowest bidder after the opening of financial bid. The 106 km long, Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar RRTS corridor will be elevated for about 71 km (11 stations), the remaining 35 km (5 stations) will be constructed underground, mostly in Delhi & Gurugram. This corridor will converge with other RRTS corridors in Sarai Kale Khan and will be interoperable, facilitating commuters’ movement from one corridor to another without the hassle of changing trains. The estimated project cost sanctioned by the Government is Rs. 24,975 crore.
The Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar RRTS smart line will pass through the urbanized and industrialized areas of Haryana and connect Delhi airport with the RRTS network, increasing the overall productivity of NCR.
After completion of the project, the corridor is expected to bring down the travel time between Sarai Kale Khan-SNB in less than 70 minutes (106 km).
