New Delhi: To develop a luxury hotel project in Mumbai, realty firm Godrej Properties has tied up with the Taj group. Godrej Properties said that it has partnered with Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris to develop a world-class Taj brand hotel at its flagship project, The Trees, at Vikhroli. This property will be managed by the Taj hotel, the property will offer about 150 guest rooms and suites.
In a statement, the company said that this is a mixed-use project of 35-acre that will comprise of housing, office, retail and hospitality.Godrej Properties Executive Chairman Pirojsha Godrej said on the tie-up with the Taj group that their endeavour is to make The Trees India an exciting mixed-use development and the partnership is an important milestone towards that goal.
