Wirtgen’s and John Deere’s first joint trade show – draws record number of visitors

Bauma 2019 was Wirtgen’s and John Deere’s first joint trade show together following John Deere’s acquisition of Wirtgen in 2017. At the group’s booth – 18 world premieres, 25 innovations, six interactive technology demos as well as leading machine and application technologies from Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann, Benninghoven, and John Deere were exhibited.

At the event, Deere announced the launch of its 622GP motor grader as well as its 672GP to the European market. The Wirtgen Group’s sales and service network in Germany and France is handling the sale of these products.

“SmartSynergies and Innovations” was the theme of the group’s presence at Bauma this year. SmartSynergies refers to how the specialized product brands Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann, and Benninghoven offer unparalleled solutions for every road construction application that complement each other perfectly – and are further enhanced by the synergies created as a result of the Wirtgen Group being part of John Deere.

Some of the products on display were – the intelligent Wirtgen W 210 Fi cold milling machine with Mill Assist, the impressive Vögele SUPER 3000-3(i) large paver with 18 m screed, the new Hamm HP series of pneumatic tired rollers, the rugged Kleemann MOBICAT MC 120 Z PRO jaw crusher for demanding mining operations, the environmentally friendly Benninghoven TBA asphalt mixing plant with hot gas generator, and, of course, the entire range of John Deere construction equipment.
